Unlike on-site observation, which focuses on the work of a single expert, brain storming an unstructured approach to generating ideas about a problem- invites two or more experts into a session in which discussions are carried out and a variety of opinions are tossed around. The primary goal of this process is to think up creative solutions to problems. In brainstorming, all possible solutions are considered equally. The emphasis is on the frequency of responses during the session. Anything related to the topic can be brought up, and everything is valued. Questions can be raised for clarification, but no evaluation is made at the moment.
